OON’s Count

In conjunction with the release earlier this week of VIDA’s 2012 statistics, the editors of [out of nothing] here offer a raw count, broken down according to author’s / artist’s sex (inasmuch as this could be determined via author name, bio, etc.), of both the submissions the journal has received and the works that the journal has published over the course of its existence. The numbers here too are reflected in the medium in which we editors initially view and through which we made contact with this information, i.e. Google Docs. You are seeing these figures as we see and as we, preliminarily, understand them.

Over the next couple of weeks, the editors of [out of nothing] will be offering further commentary on these numbers.
